For a place that was so fun, it was oddly deserted. Perhaps it was the fact that it was a beautiful sunny day outside, and that most shifters were out in the fresh air enjoying it, rather than in the stuffy confines of the empty mine shaft. Whatever the reason, it suited Fox just fine as the walked into the entrance, the sound of her boots echoing off the walls and into the vast space. Kicking a loose rock, she watched as it rolled across the ground to disappear amongst some rubble. The mine shaft was pretty old, and when one thought about it, it could collapse at any given moment, no? The thought sent a trill of excitement up her spine, and her lips turned up into a small smile.
Walking deeper into the cave, ever mindful of her surroundings, she watched a lone rat scurry across her path to disappear amongst some rocks. Nope, no squeal of surprise from her. Despite her appearance, Fox was no delicate flower; she could get down and dirty like the best of them. She wasn’t some girly-girl afraid of breaking a nail. No, anyone who knew Fox knew that she loved danger, and purposely went on her way to get into it. Whether it be some stupid, dangerous stunt or a fight, Fox lived off the adrenaline rush it brought her. In fact, it was becoming such a habit that she absolutely had to have at least one good heart-pumping, blood-rushing, adrenaline rush a day. Seriously, it was more addictive than cigarettes.
Arriving at her destination, the cold beauty brought the vanilla flavored cancer stick to her lips, taking a puff. Blowing the vanilla-scented smoke away from her, she studied the two unused mine carts standing side by side with icy blue eyes. The carts were for two twin tracks that went on the same path deep into the mine, where exactly, Fox didn’t know. But the path was treacherous, and that was all she cared about. She wasn’t planning on going the whole route anyways; after all there was only so much carting one could do for a day. Taking another drag of the cigarette, she walked a lazy circle around the carts, inspecting them. They were in pretty good shape, which was the main thing. The tracks she didn’t care about. In fact, the more treacherous and broken they were the better. That meant the more dangerous they would be, and the greater the rush one would get. Just thinking about it got her itching to get on and go. But no, she had to be patient and wait. After all, there was a reason for the second cart. One was obviously for her and the other for Lucius, her fellow adrenaline junkie and best friend. Or at least she though of him as a best friend, she wasn’t quite sure what he thought of her. Which was surprising since as bad as Fox was with letting people get close to her, Lucius was even worse. Maybe that’s what drew her to him, or the fact that he seemed to love danger as much as her. It wasn’t for his appearance, no, his dashingly good looks were just an added bonus.
Blowing out a steady cloud of smoke, Fox lazily leaned against one of the mining carts, shivering slightly as the cold metal pressed against her bare legs. Clad in a pair of short shorts, a black tank top, and a blue plaid shirt it wasn’t perhaps the smartest choice of attire for a dangerous activity such as this, but it was comfortable to her, and that’s what mattered. Anyways it added to the excitement of not having the proper survival gear.
With one final drag of her cigarette, Fox dropped it on the ground and put it out with her black boot. Straightening, she looked towards the way she had come, her acute hearing picking up the sound of footsteps. Ah, so Lucius had arrived, right on time.

Today hadn't really gone as planned. Well, he never really planned out what he was going to do, but if he did, this wouldn't have been it. He had gotten up and just mindless walked around, clearly not in the mood to deal with people today. Of course, someone had to start something though. It seemed lately that he never just had a day off. Someone always had to start something. Always. Everyday it seemed he would get a new cut, a new bruise. The day before he had felt like his shoulder had completely gotten ripped out of socket. Apparently he looked like a walking punching bag or something. But don't get me wrong, he never just took it, he always dished it back out, and usually he gave more than he got.
Like today, he had been minding his own business, when out of the blue some guy stepped on his foot. now usually, Lucius really wouldn't have cared, but the guy had yelled at him to watch where he was going. Well, of course that was going to piss him off, and with his bi-polar anger he had completely exploded. It was a blinded white rage that just sort of over took him, for no reason. I mean sure, the guy was a douche bag and deserved something, but Lu felt like he went a little over board with this one. He had completely knocked the guy out, his face was every shade of blue, purple, and red you could image. Sad part, it left Lu feeling good, like he had accomplished something.
He rubbed his bruised knuckles as his feet starting taking him to wards the mine shafts. He was starting to regret ever agreeing with Fox to do it. Not because he was scared, Lu never get scared or backed out, but he just simply really wasn't in the mood. He had already got the adrenaline rush when he beat the shit out of a fellow shifter, some old mine carts just didn't sound like they were going to match up. He figured he wouldn't just leave her down here though, without a word. He could be a total dick, but there were some things he just didn't do. So maybe when he finally caught up with her he could tell her he just didn't want to.
His tongue ran over his broken lip, and there was a taste of dried blood. Immediately he brought up a hand t wipe it away, but the broken skin was still slightly swollen. he cursed slightly to himself, looking down at his bruised knuckles and noticed how much worse the discoloration was getting. Now it was extremely obvious he got in a fight, and there kind of was no way to get around it. Maybe it would help him get out of the whole mine cart thing?
He figured she wasn't going to let him back out of it though. Even though he pretty much hated anything breathing, he had kind of taken a liking to Fox. He guessed he would call her a friend, but he really wasn't a friend to her. He liked that she really didn't open up, and spill her guts all over him. He thought people like wine bottles, the longer you keep them shut, the better they were. Sure there were flaws in his logic, but he really didn't give a rats ass.But Fox never tried to get him to let her in, at least she hadn't tried yet. He slightly hoped she wouldn't either. He was to awkward when it came to mushy, chick-flick moments and such, and frankly, he really didn't like them. To him, Fox was kind of like one of the guys, even though he didn't have any, but she would do. She acting like one anyways, always getting into trouble and such. It was an added perk to her, that and how she was easy on the eyes.
After walking a little further down the shaft, he herd another set of footsteps. He scratched at his chest, which was covered with a plain black t-shirt. His worker boots sounded rather loud as he got closer to the other set of footsteps, and just assumed they were Fox's. Her scent hit him before he saw her, and he grinned slightly when she finally did come into view. "Hey Fox," [/color] his voice was quieter than usually, slightly raspy, and sounded as if he hadn't used it in centuries, "not to sound like a bum or anything, but I think I'm backing out..."[/b] His hand moved, scratching the back of his neck, eyes still set on her.

Hey Fox…not to sound like a bum or anything, but I think I’m backing out… She sighed inwardly, not letting her disappointment show. She figured as such, as soon as she smelled the blood on him. Of course he had gotten into a fight, when did Lucius ever not get in one? On that thought, when did she ever not get in one? But then again, when you lived in a colony filled with hotheaded, strong, and terribly eager to fight shifters, it was highly inevitable that you would end up in some kind of scrap at least once a day. It was really over the stupidest and smallest things too, such as bumping into someone or perhaps even wearing the same article of clothing as someone else. That particular train of thought brought a slight smile to Fox’s lips. She was probably one of the only shifters who would ever get in a fight with another shifter over wearing the same shirt. But then again she was in a bad mood that day, and that particular shirt did look a little better on the girl… not that it mattered anymore. By the time the fight was through the girl was definitely worse for wear – with several bruises on her face including a split lip and bloody nose, and said shirt had been torn to shreds in the fight. Fox had made sure of that.
So yeah, she was kind of a bitch. But she was a bitch who cared for her friends, so when Lucius did finally come into view, she couldn’t stop the slight frown her lips formed as she quickly sized up his injuries. Split lip, bruised knuckles, and numerous other bruises and small cuts, Lucius looked like shit, so to speak. But a small surge of pride warmed her, because as bad as Lucius looked the other guy had to look a lot worse. Lucius may be silent and tend to keep to himself, but when it came to a fight, he always came out on top. A lot like Fox, which was maybe another reason why she saw him as such a good friend. He reminded her a lot of herself when she thought about it.
Cocking her hip to the side and placing her right hand on it, she studied him, her lightly glossed lips forming a mock pout. “Aww Lucy! You just had to go get into a fight without me? And I was so looking forward to our little date.” Rolling her eyes, the corners of her lips turned up into a bright smile as she stepped forward, making a slow circle around him and finishing her assessment of the injuries, before ending a few feet away from him, her hands on her hips, icy blue eyes slightly narrowed. “So, how’s the other guy looking? Like total hell considering it’s you he fought, right?” Fox laughed lightly, trying to disguise her concern. Truthfully she shouldn’t be concerned, after all it was Lucius. But he was one of her closest friends, and she didn’t really do the whole close friend thing – she was just a closed off person in general – so the few friends she did have, well she treasured.
She only wished that Lucius felt the same. Or if he did, that he would show it more. Now, she didn’t want to come off as prying and gregarious, because she really wasn’t that social – she didn’t have some lame desire to be everyone’s best friend like some shifters – she just wished Lucy would open up a bit more. He was so quite and reserved, Fox just wished he’d be a bit more open towards her.
Raising a slim brow, she looked behind her at the mine carts. Well, they could always go another day. No big deal. She’d just do something later to get an adrenaline rush. That bitch Jessica had been getting on her nerves lately and had been practically asking her for a fight. So Fox would just give her a little visit later and get her daily dosage of adrenaline for the day. Turning back to Lucius she shrugged nonchalantly and brushed her dark hair out of her eyes, taking a few steps forwards and passing him, only to turn around a few steps away and look at him. “Well? What are you waiting for? We should get you patched up. I have a few spare supplies lying around…” She trailed off, waiting for him. Now, she wasn’t much of a medic, but you picked up a few basic medical skills after your first few fights. And she had learned that her knowledge of medicine had increased quite nicely once she joined the shifters, for the fights were a lot rougher and the wounds a lot worse among them.

His hand fell down to his side after a moment of staying at his neck. His green eyes were just staring at Fox, sort of analyzing her. He figured that she would have been extremely disappointed, but if she was, he hadn't noticed. Maybe he just sucked at reading people, which really came to no surprise there. He hadn't really spent much time around them, and when he did, he really didn't pay much attention to how they were feeling and how they looked or acted because of that. Then again, she could just be one of those people that hid her emotions well. He didn't know. She seemed the type that would be, acting all innocent until someone happened to bring out that inner beast that he knew she had locked up in there somewhere.
It was no secret either, she was basically him in a girl form. He knew for a fact hat she could hold her own, and would never really want to get into a fight with her. One reason being that he tried not to hit girls, even though Fox basically was a man. Two, he considered her a friend, how ever much that matter. Three, he frankly didn't know who would come out on top. The girl had a fire about her, and maybe that was why Lu even considered her a friend in the first place. God forbid he ever be in over his head, but if that should ever happen, he knew that Fox would be able to pull him out.
His eyes blinked, watching her hip cock out and that pout form on her face. Throughout her one short lived sentence, he cringed twice. "My name is Lucius..." He grumbled rather bitterly at her as she called him Lucy. He hated nicknames, hated them. A person was given their name for a reason, might as well keep that reason in tact and not butcher the name. But Lucy? What kind of name was that? He thought it sounded like some girl name or something. "As much as I hate to say it, but I might be forced to hit you if you ever call me that again." A sad excuse of a grin cracked onto his busted lip. He had been slightly serious though, and would give her a dirt glare or call her some horrible name if she tried pulling that again.
The second reason for his other twitch? 'And I was so looking forward to our little date'. That one little word. Date. This wasn't a date. In his mind, anyways, it was the furthest thing away from a date. She might of just said it on a whim, and didn't even notice. But Lucius had physically shown that he noticed the word. Muscles had tensed, eyes narrowed slightly at her. He didn't date. Dating was for losers. For people who actually let other people in, leaving them vulnerable and exposed. He had made that mistake of doing that once, and never again would he do it. Never. He didn't want to go through the pain again of losing that said person. Not again. He wouldn't do it.
All thoughts pushed aside when she started moving, walking in a circle around him. His body didn't move, save his head that followed her. he felt he was prey or something with the way she was walking around him. It wasn't really a big deal, and not a word passed threw his lips until she stopped and spoke. A rather large smirk appeared on his face as he looked at her. Her concern went unnoticed by him, and a hand just slid into his pocket. "Left the guy curled up in a ball on the floor." A light chuckle came from him as he spoke. It was actually slightly sad that he would laugh at that. It seemed shifters truly did lose their humanity. Most people would feel slightly sorry for it, feel maybe a twinge of guilt. But not Lucius. It just left him feeling good, and it made his ego grow that much more.
It was also nice to know that Fox was just like him in this category. She liked the rush of a good fight, and she felt good about winning. He could brag about his winnings, and she would go along with it, and vice versa. That was what being a friend was all about, right? Being able to tell each other stuff? Lucius just didn’t grab the concept of telling friends things that he wouldn’t tell other people. He didn’t open up. Like listed before, he felt it just left you all exposed. The person you told everything to could just rip you up in a heart beat. He really wasn’t one to leave himself like that either. So he had built up these walls around just about everything. There was no way in hell that any of them came down either.
He had just stood there for a moment, when she passed him, his head still looking straight forward. After hearing her sentence end, he took in a small breath, then finally turned his head to look at her. He gave a slight nod, and turned around, his feet slowly making him walk forward. A hand came up and scratched the gruff growing on the side of his face before looking back at Fox. Her whole reaction to the whole thing had sort of caught him off guard. He had figured when she was quiet that she had been concocting some gaint plan that would get him to go along with her plans, but here she was, saying that she was going to patch him up. It just sort of caught him off guard, so to speak. ”You really doing this?” His voice finally came out as he looked at her. ”I mean, ditching the mine shaft and all? I figured you would have just pushed me in one of the carts and went…” Another sad excuse for a smile was on his lips again as he looked at her.

Fox’s lips turned up into a grin to mimic Lucius’ own at his retort to her nickname for him. Honestly he probably wouldn’t hit her, knowing Lucius, but then again if she made him mad enough he might just try it. Or he’d probably try to come up with some ridiculous nickname, which most likely would not work out as planned considering there weren’t really any good nicknames for Fox. She was called Foxy on occasion, mostly by Wolf, but that was pretty much it. So it’d be interesting to see what Lucius would do. So she’d probably risk it. And worst case scenario, Lucius would be fun to fight. Not that she would really want to try it considering his track record. As much as she loved to fight, she wasn’ t stupid, contrary to popular belief. In fact she was highly intelligent; she just didn’t show that to everyone. It was always best to keep them on their toes after all.
Noticing his reaction to her comment about their meeting, Fox snorted – a rather unladylike thing to do, but Fox didn’t give a shit. She wasn’t exactly the most poster-girl for ladylike behavior. She was far from it. Rolling her eyes, she looked at Lucius. “Relax, I was just kidding Lucy..ius…come on, ever hear of sarcasm? I don’t date, sorry to crush your hopes.” She punched him lightly in the arm (careful not hit an injury), grinning as she did so, trying to lighten the mood. She heard rumors of how Lucius had become a shifter, but never asked him about it, with him being so closed off and all. Maybe one of these days when he’d open up a little, but then again it had been hard enough getting him to open up when she had first approached him and befriended him. She didn’t need him going all silent treatment on her now.
She chuckled along with him as he spoke of the guy he fought. “I wouldn’t expect anything less from you. So who was it?” Sometimes when she couldn’t sleep, she thought about her time as a breeder, and how she had drastically changed. But then again, maybe she hadn’t. Back in the breeder compound she never did get along very well with people, and she was always getting into fights, much like herself now. So did this apathetic attitude towards humans and other shifters come with the package of being a shifter? Or was she always like this, and it was just deep inside her, only to be unlocked by the poisonous bite of Brian?
She shook the dark thoughts from her head, and instead turned her attention back to Lucius, tilting her head slightly to the side as he spoke of his surprise, laughing at his comment. “Well, I would be lying if I said the thought didn’t cross my mind, but I’m in a surprisingly generous mood today, go figure.” She shrugged lazily, kicking a rock in her path. “Anyways, I think I’ll just have some fun with Jessica later. She’s practically been begging to be taken down a peg or two…” She laughed again, and this time her smile took on a feral quality as she though of the fight she would surely be getting into later that night.

An eyebrow slowly rose at the sound of her snort. Sure, Fox wasn't your typical girl, but it still slightly caught him by surprise. She didn't seem like the type to snort, or any other none feminine things like picking her nose, picking her belly button, burping, farting, sticking her hand down her pants, and so on and so forth. Yet, there was still a little part of him the grinned. He would much rather be hanging around a girl that snorted then a girl that gave off one of those annoying sighs every two seconds. That right there could easily drive a man crazy. Brow finally stopped rising, but his mouth never opened to say something. Her words had come out first.
His eyes narrowed as Lucy slipped from her lips, but at least she did catch it. Straightening his back a little, he kept looking at her, ears open and listening. His muscles eased up, and finally calmed. At her last little bit he let out a scuff. "To bad for you, you're missing out on a pretty amazing guy." There was a crooked grin on his face, and a light chuckle. He had gratefully taken her little stab to lighten up the mood. He wanted the subject to change, he wanted to get the images out of his head. Sunday was the last person on earth he wanted to be thinking about right now, but her image danced threw his head. His jaw clenched slightly as his minds eye gazed upon the freckled woman, green eyes shining brightly. Now wasn't the time to be thinking about her though, and he shoved all the images, and thoughts to the back of his mind.
Her chuckle was slightly comforting as she took his side. "That fuck face Durkis." His voice was slightly lowered than before, his eyes still set on Fox. "Guy stepped on my boot." he gave off a shrug like it was nothing, and a perfectly good reason for beating someone up. Sure that wasn't the only reason, if Durkis wouldn't have yelled at Lu, then the fight would have never happened. But no, he had to yell and throw a fucking fit. So, Lucius reacted in the only way he knew. Turned out in his favor though, so he really didn't care. he would probably forget about the whole thing by tomorrow, considering he usually did. He got into t many little scuffs to remember each and everyone of them. The only ones he did remember were the ones that were actually a challenge, so the next time he got into a fight with the some person, he would remember how they reacted to things and such.
Eyes narrowed once again as she laughed at his comment. A brow rose slightly after. "Generous mood? Thats a new one..." His voice slightly faded off, thinking maybe just a bit to hard on what she had just said. All thoughts pushed aside when she spoke of picking a fight though. "Jessica..." He started chewing at the inside of of lip, trying to think of just who Jessica was. There were to many shifters for him to remember who was who and what not. Besides, it wasn't like he actually liked any one, so he really had no reason to learn their names. He bit a little harder at his lip before a realization hit him, and he looked back over at Fox. "You mean stuck up, snobby, bitch face Jessica?" Eyes moved to look straight out in front of him. "Someone needs to tear her a new hole..." He muttered slightly, speaking mostly to himself.
Scratching at the gruff that was growing on his face, his head slowly turned to look back at the girl beside him. "Well, I wanna be there, so you can't go starting some fight without me." A sad excuse for a smile ghosted its way onto his lips as he looked at her. He was actually slightly hoping that her fight would erupt into a bigger one. Sure he had already gotten into one today, and he was a little sore, but who would turn down a fight? Especially if Jessica was being beat on, then maybe one of those hormone pumped lug heads might try and swoop in, acting all knight in shining armor, and fend Fox off. He almost laughed at the idea. If that happened, Lu would have to step in to make it a even fight, even if Fox could take them both. It would be more fun that way. Maybe it would grow from there and turn into some full out riot. Wouldn't that be fun? Well, it would until Ember showed up pissed asking who started the whole thing. Hoping the scary bitch will just stay in her hole, to the rest of the place could actually have some fun for once.
Eyes slowly drifted down to his boots, and his hand slowly slidto where his thumb hooked into his pocket. "If only..." He muttered to himself before lifting his gaze straight out in front of him again.

Fox laughed at his comment, rolling her eyes. “I’m sure I’ll survive somehow.” Grinning, she placed a hand to her forehead, feigning sadness before glancing over at Lucius, a smile still dancing upon her lips. It’s not that she didn’t find Lucius attractive and thus not worth her time, on the contrary, she found him very attractive. It’s just that Lucius was her best friend, or as close to being a best friend as one gets, and the thought never really occurred to her. After all, she didn’t do relationships, and she would never want to risk losing Lucius’ friendship. No, she had too much respect in their friendship and him to ever jeopardize it. Noticing his spaced out look, she sensed that he’d rather change the topic, and so she did. “Anyways, since I’m being so generous today, I think you should too. And you should be generous by letting me call you Lucy. Because I actually like that name, and it totally suits you.” Despite her grin, she did move away a few inches just in case Lucius was going to stick to his threat and attack her. Which he probably wouldn’t do, but it was always better to be on the safe side.
“Durkis? Great! That guys had it coming to him. Great job.” Fox congratulated him, as if Lucius had done some charitable deed. Which in a way he had. Durkis was a douche bag who needed to be taught a lesson, and Lucius was the perfect person to do it. When Lucius spoke of Jessica, Fox couldn’t help laughing. “Yeah that bitch is going down.” Her lips turned up into a feral smile as her eyes took on a mischievous light. “Do you know she had the audacity to tell people I faked my British accent? Puh-lease as if I would. What would be the point? And anyways, wouldn’t that mean Wolf is faking his accent too? God she’s such a dumbass it pisses me off. I can’t wait to crush her.” Fox scoffed, brushing a loose strand out of her face. “Fake accent. What an insult to my British pride.” She muttered a few choice obscenities under her breath, before kicking a stray pebble in her way. Really, she didn’t care that much that Jessica said her accent was fake. Because it wasn’t and everyone knew that. It’s just that by insulting Fox, she was also insulting Wolf in the process, and that wouldn’t do. If anyone dared mess with Wolf, they messed with Fox, and vice versa. The two siblings were extremely close and an insult to either of them was an insult to the both of them. So while Wolf would never hit a girl, Fox was more than happy to for the both of them.
Fox smiled once more at Lucius reply about not starting the fight without him. Good ol’ Lucius. She could count on him just as much as she could count on Wolf. “Oh I wouldn’t dream of starting without you there to watch. And as a bonus, I’m pretty sure that you’ll get to fight too. Brian has seemed to have taken an interest in Jessica and will most likely be there when the fight starts. So he’ll probably try to split us up and then you can step in. We can totally do a tag team thing. It’ll be great.” And no, Fox was so not also picking a fight with Jessica because Brian has taken an interest in her. That would be such a petty eighth grade reason, and Fox was a mature lady. Or at least more mature than an eight grader. Things between Fox and Brian were always complicated. While Fox was created by Brian(in the way that he turned her), and she showed her sign of thanks by getting his name tattooed on her, that didn’t mean she necessarily liked him. Sure he was useful to her in the past and they still hooked up here and there, but it wasn’t like Fox actually cared about him. If anything their relationship was a love/hate one, with Brian acting like he owned Fox or something because he ‘created’ her, so he felt entitled to her, and Fox insulting him and generally telling him how much he disgusted her with his egotistical attitude. They could get along sometimes, but more often then not their friendly talks turned to arguments. But it wasn’t like the fight had anything to do with Brian, he just happened to be collateral damage. Cracking her knuckles, Fox smirked at Lucius. “So you in? With any luck the fight might get bigger.”

A crooked grin faintly stayed on his face for a few more brief moments, dull green eyes looking over in Fox's direction. A light chuckle slipped past his lips as she spoke. "That's what you think." He added quietly, his grin growing for another few brief moments before completely vanishing from his face. It was fun poking little things like that, but Lucius was by means a flirt, and that was the most that would probably come out of him for a long time. Sure, Fox was ridiculously attractive, but it didn't seem right to wanna go that way with her. It was almost like incest or something in his mind.
His left eye brow lifted higher than his right as he herd Fox's words. He turned to look at her for a second, almost plain out laughing as he noticed her slightly scoot away. If it was anyone else, he defiantly would be mad or annoyed, but for some reason, he was still in a faintly good mood, but still a bit on the touchy side. "No." He spoke quickly after she finished, his eyes still staring at her. "Don't care how much you like, or if he think it fits, you ain't calling me that." He narrowed his eyes slightly, almost like a dare to see if she would say it. But he didn't keep the look long before looking straight forward again. "Sounds like a name you would give to her pet turtle or something." The low grumble of words left him, his still looking away from Fox.
A light smile was all that he showed as she congratulated him on beating up the prick. A light chuckle came from him as she spoke of Jessica. Another scuff when mentioned about the accent. "Its 'cause she is a girl." He said simply, a shrug rolling off his shoulders. He then suddenly realized who he was talking to, and looked over at Fox. "You know what I mean..." He wasn't knocking down Fox, it was just at times it seemed to slip his mind that she was in fact a female. He had meant girls in terms of the 'oh my god, i just broke a nail' bitches that he hated so much. You would think that if you could physically morph your body into that of a wolf, that you wouldn't care so much for hair and nails. It ceased to amaze him though how air headed some broads could get. He just wanted to strangle them all at times.
To get back on track, Lucius stuck a hand in his pocket. "British pride?" A smirk appeared on his lips as he spoke. "People actually have that?" He suddenly had another urge to just sort of pick on her again. He didn't know what was up, but it had just hit him, and he went along. He figured he would get a nasty glare and some few choice words back, but that was what made it fun. When people just accept things, it is boring, it gets exctiting when they throw things back though, and a whole new little jab-fest begins. It was all in good fun of course, and would lay off if he went to far, but he had a feeling that he still had a long ways to go.
Slowly a smile ghosted unto his lips until it was bright and beaming. It was good to know that she wouldn't ge ahead and do something stupid without him. "Tag team..." He gave a light laugh. "I don't think I have actually herd anyone say that out loud in a very long time." Why he found it humorous, god only knew. Maybe it was just thinking about a fight that put him in a chipper mood or something. The whole thing sounded like a good enough idea though. He figured some guy would be after Jessica, and Brain would do just nicely. Though, in the back of his mind, Lucius had to question it. He knew how the two were together, hell, everyone knew, it wasn't like it was a big secret. He knew that Fox wouldn't fight someone over him, it was pety, but still, he couldn't help but have that little voice nag him about it. I mean come on, she tatooed the guy's name on her. No matter how much she said it was only a token of appriation or hank you or whatever, Lucius would always kind of think differently about it. It was just how he was. He had herd about it before getting to know Fox, and had made up his mind then what he would think of it. Being just about as stubborn as an ox, he wasn't about to go around changing his thoughts. Once you change one, then you have to go arund fixing the toehrs, and he didn't want to do that. He just wanted to stay in his little world of whatever bliss he had.
At the sound of cracking kncukles, Lucius looked back over at her, a straight and serious look on his face. "You know how to kill someone," there was a slight pause before he continued. "If I ever say no to that, you have to put me down." A toothy grin soon after came and covered up his features. "When you planning on doing it, anyways?"
